Tatiana Dunyo and Borja Bilbao, members of the 42 Awards jury in the Catalan and Spanish language categories, respectively, will be holding a conversation with the award winners from the current edition. Festival 42 continues to back the award-winning books and their authors, as the awards are a central and iconic and part of the festival. In addition, after the conversation, the books’ authors will be signing copies for members of the public. Let’s remember that Festival 42 has been a pioneer in recognising literary voices which afterwards have gone on to become promising new writers in the fantasy genre, for example Layla Martínez, Premi 42 for revelation in Spanish in 2022 with Carcoma (Amor de Madre), and Pol Castellanos, Premi Alba 42 for the best young readers’ work in 2022 with L’assassina de Venècia (Estrella Polar).
