Eloi Juvillà Ballester

Eloi Juvillà Ballester (Lleida, 1975) is an architect specialising in sustainability and healthy cities. He works at the Barcelona Provincial Council, where he launched the urban green strategy and was part of the Urban Environment and Health working group. He has coordinated the publications Renaturalització de la ciutat (2019), Propostes per a l'ambientalització de concursos públics d'edificació (2018) (written in conjunction with the Council for Sustainable Building) and the Guia i cercador online per a la selecció d’espècies del verd urbà (2015). He is currently a member of the team driving the Barcelona Provincial Council’s Climate Plan with the goal of making the institution climate neutral by 2030. He is the coordinator of the post-graduate degree in Urban Planning and Health at the UPC-UVIC and a board member of the Catalan Town and Country Planning Society. He has just published Terra cremada, a reflection on the climate emergency, with Pagès Editors.
