DARK FANTASY: THE NEW FEMININE BATCH
Dark fantasy is written in feminine, or at least that is what writers such as Eva Amuedo, Lucía G. Sobrado and Paula Gallego are saying. All three writers have recently published books that form part of that genre, offering readers stories full of magic, but with a dark side that is difficult to ignore. Eva Amuedo recently brought out El despertar de Osharan (Obscura), the second volume of a fantasy saga that began with El dárico gris, a book well-received among the readers of epic fantasy. The two-part fantasy story by Lucía G. Sobrado, made up of Bruma roja and Reino feroz (Nova) enjoyed even more success among readers of romantic and fantasy fiction. Featuring a heroine with a beast inside her, this saga offers a journey to a fairy-tale world where nothing is what it seems. Lastly, Paula Gallego has just published Todas las criaturas oscuras (Puck) the first book of her new, two-part fantasy series Gaueko. Cristina Parrales (better known as Chris T. Nash on social media) will be moderating the conversation between these three authors , which promises to go beyond fantasy, beyond darkness... and certainly beyond the commonplace.
