Daniel Genís Mas

(Castelló d'Empúries, 1977) Is a writer and secondary school teacher. He has a bachelor's degree in Catalan and Hispanic Language and Literature, as well as a PhD in Literature. He has published several works revolving around morals, history and political thought in mediaeval and present-day Catalonia. He has worked as a consultant for Pagès Editors' Ciència-ficció collection and currently works for Laertes Editorial's L'Arcà collection. He also directs El Biblionauta, the leading Catalan-language fantasy literature website. His first novel, Uns déus ferotges, was published this year.
