Alberto Rizzo

Alberto Rizzo (Barcelona, 1981) is a director, playwright and theatre researcher. He is also the founder of La Coquera Teatre and Barcelona’s Festival MUTIS. As an author, he has published essays like Haciendo mutis (Dédalo, 2013), plays like Almisdaé (Dédalo, 2013) and Carrusel (La cabaña del loco, 2019) and articles in different magazines (Arts Escèniques, ADE, Anagnòrisi and Paso de Gato, among others). He has been the editor-in-chief at Edicions Mutis since 2021. He has staged different plays based on texts by Italo Calvino with the UPC.
