48-Hour Open House in Sants-Montjuïc
This weekend, more than 200 emblematic buildings in the metropolitan area of Barcelona open their doors for free, most of them without prior reservation needed. A dozen are in Montjuïc, Poble-sec or Sants.
Following the previous edition, which showcased the elements and pieces that shape urban architecture, the 15th edition of the festival seeks to delve into and understand what is significant for citizens. It will focus on an exploration of seven essential aspects for designing and enjoying a space: lighting, solidity, location, orientation, functionality, aesthetics and comfort.

This year, the 48h Open House Barcelona architecture festival has joined Open House Europe, an initiative co-financed by the European Commission’s Creative Europe programme.
