Observations:
The squares in the old part of Sant Andreu: Nadal, Massades, Marià Brossa and Xandri, located among narrow streets still mostly consisting of houses at street level, are small, very simple areas with a familiar and homely atmosphere, evoking images of life in past times. Surprisingly, since they were planted last century, these London plane trees have been the most common if not the only plant life in the area.
