Avocado tree

Travessera de les Corts, 202

Observations:
This magnificent old tree previously stood in the garden of a private estate. It became public heritage on being integrated into an open area, in a new square, and it is visible from every corner. It is a species native to the American tropics, quite unusual in Barcelona. It does not bear fruit regularly as this species is native to warmer climates. The conservation of this tree to the present day has enabled it to be considered a tree of local interest.
