Observations:
These trees are perhaps, together with the London planes on the Rambles, the most interesting avenue lining trees in Barcelona. This group consists of 322 specimens situated on the north-south artery and belong to two species of linden: Tilia europaea and Tilia tomentosa. It becomes a wonderful event in the city when these trees come into bloom every spring.
