The eighties and nineties of the last century were a crowning moment for graphic design. It was a time of extraordinary productivity, euphoria and celebration, known as ‘the design boom’. Fuelled to a large extent by support from institutions and the media, it was a boom that has left us with a phrase that became famous and that reflects its popularity, ‘Do you design or work?’. This book is a collection of images from the permanent exhibition on display at the Museu del Disseny (Design Museum).
