After the two giants of Montbau first appeared in 2011, the neighbourhood’s giant carrier group saw that the littlest members needed a little giant of their own. They didn’t waste any time and from a big head of a fireman they had bought at El Ingenio the previous year Ricard Rosselló started to build Roger. He is a giant dressed as a fireman who belongs to the category of giants called ‘manotes’ because he does not have rigid arms. He was christened Roger the Fireman as a tribute to the company of firefighters at the Vall d’Hebron Fire Station in the neighbourhood.
