In the run-up to Palm Sunday, a market called the Fira de Rams is set up on the Rambla de Catalunya, where visitors can buy palmes, palmons and llorer: woven palm leaves, palm branches and laurel branches. Of course, you can buy all kinds of decorations to celebrate this religious festival as well: from sugar rosaries to coloured ribbons. The stalls where you can get these traditional and craft products are set up between Carrer d'Aragó and Carrer de la Diputació.

According to tradition, families look forward to these fairs so they can buy their palm leaves and branches and have them blessed on Palm Sunday.
