Ethnology Museum
The Barcelona Ethnology Museum is a space dedicated to inter-cultural knowledge and has people from cities, towns and villages as its primary point of reference for studying the full complexity of society. The museum contains the best items of everyday life, as well as the most extraordinary works produced by the range of different cultures its collections cover. It seeks to produce a twofold impact on the public: enthusiasm for both scientific and aesthetic knowledge. The 50,000 images, fieldwork film and audio recordings provide a significant audio-visual collection. The objects collected over time from five continents are updated and contextualised with intangible heritage.
