El Racó de Cultura de Sant Antoni
The Sant Antoni neighbourhood's popular and traditional culture associations have been sharing the Racó de Cultura de Sant Antoni since 2012. It is located in a building on the Carrer Viladomat and has a single room and a storage area for keeping equipment. The installation of soundproofing has meant that groups can rehearse music without disturbing the neighbours.
The Racó de Cultura de Sant Antoni is used by the Diables i la Porca de Sant Antoni, the Trapelles de Sant Antoni, Tocal’2 Grup de percussió, the Trabucaires de Sant Antoni and the Grup de Teatre el Triangle. The Trabucaires de Barcelona Coordinator and the Tres Tombs de la Ciutat de Barcelona Federation are based at this space and it provides a meeting place for the activities of the Sant Antoni Annual Festival Commission, brings together the numerous organisations every year in the neighbourhood which together organise the big annual festival. In addition, the Racó de Cultura de Sant Antoni also plays host to a range of cultural events such as talks, chats, book presentations and exhibitions and the space is open to members of the neighbourhood and members of organisations who want to exhibit their work there.
