This party wall is dedicated to the memory of the women who, during the Civil War, played an active role in defending the Republic. The remodelling of this party wall is included in the 2018-2019 Consolidated Party Wall Rehabilitation Plan, promoted by the Municipal Urban Landscape Institute. The programme aims to help improve the urban landscape and environmental conditions, as well as the quality of life of the people who live in the buildings. Worthy of particular note here is the improved thermal insulation of the adjacent property and the construction of new windows, the installation of a vertical garden to increase biodiversity and 31 photovoltaic panels, as well as an artistic mural with the image of the anti-fascist militiawoman Marina Ginestà, which creates a new relationship between the square and this intervention.
