Carmen Aciar is a young singer-songwriter from Mendoza (Argentina), who has been living in Barcelona for the last two years. She has a rich musical background and experience, and is currently in her most creative and compositional era, looking for new music and ways of expressing herself through poetry and song.

Drawing heavily from Argentinean popular music, she tells stories based on a conversation between different genres such as folklore, tango, Andean music and flamenco. Her first album, Historias Mas, was recorded in 2023. The artist is currently backed by Juan Pastor on double bass and Joaquín Galván on guitar. Through seven songs that travel through different genres, we grasp the pursuit and purpose of their music, the connection with their roots, but also with the landscape that surrounds them today, in a new city.
