Andrea Genovart and Greta García
In this Dialogue, moderated by Berta Gómez Santo Tomás, Andrea Genovart and Greta García will be talking about Consum preferent [Best-Before] (Anagrama, 2023) and Solo quería bailar [I Only Wanted to Dance] (Tránsito, 2023). Two novels that question economic and social dynamics using authentic language, without any hang-ups.
Andrea Genovart is a UB graduate in Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature and has a Masters in Cultural Management from the Art and Development Factory in Madrid. She formed part of the artistic and contemporary creation project Espositivo and has written scripts for TV adverts. She currently works as Head of Press and Communication in various publishing companies. Consum preferent [Best-Before] is her first novel.
Greta García is a dancer, choreographer, clown, theatre director and award-winning circus performer. She works with the human body and objects, collaborating with other artists to give form to dreams and nightmares. She likes things that make you laugh and cry at the same time. Her writing is for performative works, songs for a concert. Solo quería bailar is her first novel.
