Globally, cities are responsible for 78% of energy consumption and 60% of carbon dioxide emissions. This makes them key players in the energy transition, a process of inevitable change to achieve climate neutrality. However, the legal and financial capacity of the local world is limited and the participation of the private sector and administrations - regional, national and transnational - in this mission must be achieved, for the success of which the generation of alliances will be key. and the promotion of innovative projects.
This session will discuss how the various administrations are promoting and helping to achieve climate neutrality from the cities, and the views of all levels involved will be incorporated into the conversation.
