The exhibition, organised as part of RUSIÑOL year Barcelona 2007,focuses on L'Auca del senyor Esteve (The Tale of Senyor Esteve), a novel which is celebrating the centenary of its publication this year. In it Rusiñol paints a portrait of the Barcelona of his day with a great critical sense. A selection of texts and images deal with subjects closely linked to the city and its people, a kind a literary walk in a double format, interactive and printed, more of a staged presentation in some cases.

The City Historical Archive, the Frederic Marès Museum, the Picasso Museum, the Museum of Catalan History, the Casa Llotja, the Romea Theatre and the Sant Agustí Convent are the points on this exhibition-itinerary.
