Barcelona is full of as many dreams, memories and stories as there are people who have experienced and visited it. Donde el agua se une a otras aguas [Where water joins other waters] is an essay that emphasises multicultural wealth through the inhabitants and bits and pieces of the city. In this series, Ana Belén Jarrín portrays people of various origins superimposed with images of Barcelona. As the author explains, “a kind of veil heavy with city scenery crosses their skin and becomes a riddle that fuses with their very appearance”.
