Sociologist

Professor at the Department of Sociology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He holds a PhD in Sociology, a Degree in Political Science and Sociology and a Degree in Economics and Business. 

He is the director of the Sociological Research Centre on Everyday Life and Work (QUIT) at the UAB’s Department of Sociology, as well as a researcher and member of the management team at the Institute for Labour Studies (IET) at the same university. His research interests include young people’s career paths, the use of social capital in labour markets and the relationship between employment and social protection.
