A group of Formula 1 drivers will be in action in Passeig de Gràcia on Wednesday, 19 June, driving around a small circuit from Ronda Sant Pere to C/ Aragó and then back to the start line.

The display means some disruptions to mobility in this area. Restrictions will be gradually applied, starting at 4 pm on 18 June and ending at 6 am on 20 June, for private vehicles in the following streets:

  • Ronda de Sant Pere and Ronda de la Universitat (between Pau Claris and Rambla de Catalunya)
  • Plaça de Catalunya (Bèsos side and road surface nearest the mountains)
  • Passeig de Gràcia (between Plaça de Catalunya and Gran Via)
  • Carrer de Casp (between Passeig de Gràcia and Pau Claris)

On the same day of 18 June, traffic will be restricted from 10 pm in:

  • Passeig de Gràcia (between Gran Via and C/ Aragó), without affecting intersecting streets

On 19 June, the day when most disruptions apply, new restrictions will be in place from 11 am to 11 pm, with the section between Rambla Catalunya and C/ Pau Claris and the three streets that cross Passeig de Gràcia closed to traffic:

  • Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes
  • Carrer de la Diputació
  • Carrer del Consell de Cent

Public transport and pedestrians

Similarly, pedestrians will be unable to cross Passeig de Gràcia in this section on 19 June, from 3 pm to 8 pm, with circulation progressively reestablished thereafter.

Public transport will be diverted using alternative routes. Changes will be made to the following bus services: D50, H12, H16, V15, X1, 7, 19, 22, 24, 52, 54, 55 and 67. For updated information go to the Mobility website.
