Smou, Barcelona’s personal mobility app

Barcelona has a unique app for getting around the city - it’s called Smou, and it provides you with all the information and services you need to make your journeys within the city easier. One of the main advantages offered by the app is that it allows you to integrate different services without needing to download an individual app for each of them. For the moment, the following services are covered:

Bicing: plan your route, reserve and pick up your bike with Smou. You’ll be able to see how many bikes there are at the bike share station, and whether they’re mechanical or electric.

ApparkB: forget about parking meters and paying for parking on the street by using Smou; it’s quick, it’s convenient and there’s no waiting involved. You’ll only pay for the time that you actually use, with no added cost. It can be used both in Barcelona and in other municipalities in the Metropolitan area.

Agilpark: raise the barrier at B:SM car parks without the need for a paper ticket. Once you’ve registered your vehicle on Smou, when you enter a B:SM parking facility the system will recognise your registration number, and when you leave the barrier will open automatically, with no need to pay at the machine. You pay directly through the app.

Endolla Barcelona: recharge your electric vehicle via your mobile. You can locate and reserve recharging points in advance.

And furthermore you can personalise the map on the home screen of the app, and choose what you want to see:

• The map of bicycle lanes and Bicing stations.
• The forecast of regulated on-street parking spaces available.
• The availability of spaces in the B:SM, Saba and Bamsa car parks.
• The information and location of all shared mobility vehicles in the area (if you select a vehicle from an operator you’re already registered with, Smou will direct you to the corresponding app)

It’s the convenient way to get around Barcelona easily and quickly.
