Show Cooking at La Boqueria

The activity consists of two parts: a brief introduction to the Boqueria market and the network of municipal markets and a show-cooking session inside the market itself.

In his demonstration, our guest-chef Joe Woodward will cook three dishes: a starter, a main course and a dessert, using seasonal and local ingredients, mixing local and international flavors and aromas.

• Quince cannelloni with pear and curly endive
• Speedy seasonal Catalan stew
• Toasted bread with chocolate, extra virgin olive oil and salt flakes

Joe Woodward, the cook, is an English teacher settled in Barcelona since 1997 and who decided to combine his job with his passion for gastronomy. He is the creator of Delicious English and offers cooking courses and workshops in English for people with voracious minds and stomachs.
