Improve your Key Skills with these three Workshops

Spending time on improving your skills can help you achieve personal career goals such as earning a promotion or becoming an expert on a certain topic. Your skill set can be applied to progress in your current career or expanded to earn a job in a different field or industry. Sign up to these 3 workshops organized by Barcelona Activa that have been scheduled on different dates during September and October. In order to attend to all sessions, it will be necessary to register in each one of them.

1. Smart Speaker: How to design and deliver effective presentations 

Duration: 3 hours. The workshop will be developed on one session. This activity will be realized twice, you can sign up for the September or October session.

• Friday, September 25th , 2020  
• Wednesday, October 14th, 2020

Time:

• 09:00 - 12:00 (September session)
• 12:00 - 15:00 (October session)

What will you achieve with this workshop?

- Introduce and discuss the three established principles about successful speakers.

- Present and discuss the key phases of effective presentations.

- Understand optimal design and delivery techniques.

2. Effective networking: The art of the elevator pitch

Duration: 5 hours (2.5 hours each session). The workshop consists of 2 sessions of compulsory attendance. This activity will be realized twice, you can sign up for the September or October session.

Dates:

• Monday, September 21st and Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020
• Wednesday October 14th and Thursday, October 15th, 2020

Time:

• 09:15 - 11:45 (September sessions)
• 17:00 - 19:30 (October sessions)

What will you achieve with this workshop?

- Improve the understanding of the networking process, its role and importance in professional development.

3. Power talk: Communicating with clarity, relevance and impact​

Duration: 6 hours. (3 hours each session). This activity consists of 2 sessions of compulsory attendance.

Dates: Wednesday, October 28th and Friday, October 30th, 2020

Time: 15:30 - 18:30

What will you acheive with this workshop?

- Develop an understanding of the three principles of communication: effective-relevance, clarity, and impact.
