We celebrate #8M with a prize draw for 'El Rebombori del Pa', looking back at a women’s revolt
Barcelona City Council’s Publishing Services (Barcelona Llibres), through its Barcelona Llibres Instagram profile (@barcelonallibres), is organising a draw for 8M, International Women’s Day. The book narrates the revolution started by women in response to pricing abuses with primary foodstuffs, a revolt that represents the struggle over inequalities, between the rich and the poor.
Requirements for participating
- You have to have a real, active Instagram account with a profile picture.
- You have to be 18 or older and live in the Spanish state.
- You have to do the following on Instagram:
-Like the post announcing the draw.
-Comment on the post and tag a user in your comment (each comment will count as one participation, as long as different users are tagged).
-Follow the Instagram profile @barcelonallibres.
Participation in this draw entails total acceptance of these terms and conditions and the waiver of any appeal. The organisers reserve the right to exclude participants with fraudulent behaviour, fake profiles or malicious uses. The organisers accept no responsibility for the veracity of the data provided by participants in the draw, or for failing to contact participants or winners who have provided incorrect, incomplete or erroneous data.
Publication of comments
No comments whose content is considered inappropriate will be allowed, nor comments that are offensive, injurious or discriminatory or may violate the fundamental rights of honour, personal and family intimacy and one’s own image. The organisers accept no responsibility for any damage caused by comments or opinions posted by participants.
How the draw works
The draw will be open until 11.59 pm on 20 March. The winners will be chosen randomly using the AppSorteos tool. The winners will be announced on 21 March via a comment on the post on the draw, a highlighted story and a private message to each winner. If the organisers receive no response from any of the winners 72 hours after they are announced, they reserve the right to declare the giveaway null and void or to repeat the draw following the same procedure described in these terms and conditions.
Award.
The three winners will get a copy of the book El rebombori del pa, by Isabel Segura. The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
