Back to the pre-alert stage of the drought protocol
The Government of Catalonia has decreed an end to the alert stage of the drought protocol (in place since June 2024) in the municipalities supplied by the Ter-Llobregat water system. The protocol thus drops another stage and returns to the pre-alert level, thanks to the recovery of water levels in reservoirs. The current stage means no water restrictions for individual users or municipal services.
The winter rain has boosted water levels in reservoirs and inland reserves, which are current at more than 64% capacity. This means the protocol drops back to the pre-alert stage, with no limits for users or municipal services, although people are advised to continue using water responsibly.
Tips for saving water
