Another year of “The Mayor within reach”
The Mayor, Jaume Collboni, will again be spending a few days in a different city district once a month to get closer to local people in all of Barcelona’s neighbourhoods. The initiative began in October 2023, with the mayor seeking to get closer to people in all neighbourhoods and engage more directly at a local level with organisations, commerce, facilities, public spaces, businesses, students, district workers and all the city’s inhabitants and social bodies.

Over these days, besides the meetings by ordinary government bodies which are usually held at the City Hall in Pl. Sant Jaume and the usual office premises, the Mayor will have a specific agenda for engaging with people and organisations in each area.
District by district
The new cycle of “The Mayor within reach” starts in Sarrià – Sant Gervasi: Jaume Collboni will be working from the District Office during the week of 7 January. For a few days, the Mayor will be holding some personal meetings with local people who have registered in advance to exchange impressions and convey their opinions and concerns.
