Pre-registration now open for municipal music schools

Applications are being accepted from 30 April to 8 May for new students in Barcelona's music schools for the 2024-2025 school year. A total of 620 places are available by age group and instrument in the five municipal schools, including both long-term programmes and annual workshops. This year, the Sant Andreu – Mestre Pich Santasusana Music School will be located in the central building of the Fabra i Coats complex.

The pre-registration schedule is as follows:

  • Pre-registration: 30 April to 8 May 2024, both days inclusive.
  • Publication of the list of pre-registered candidates: 10 May 2024 at 5 pm.
  • Invitation to perform musical exercises: 14 May to 24 May 2024, both days inclusive.
  • Publication of the list of admitted candidates: 11 June 2024 at 5 pm.
  • Registration period for newly admitted students: 12 to 20 June 2024, both days inclusive.

You can apply online via the websites of the municipal music schools or in person by requesting an appointment by email or telephone at the school of your choice. Please note the office hours indicated on the schools’ websites: Can Fargues, Can Ponsic, Eixample – Joan Manuel Serrat, Nou Barris and Sant Andreu – Mestre Pich Santasusana.
