Performing and audio-visual arts are back at the city’s neighbourhoods with Barcelona Districte Cultural
The Barcelona Districte Cultural cycle of shows is back, offering a programme featuring 21 stage productions and 9 audio-visual works previously cancelled during the spring edition because of the COVID-19 crisis.The local cultural circuit known as Barcelona Districte Cultural will be back at neighbourhood stages as from 4 September, offering close to sixty functions previously cancelled in the spring because of the COVID-19 crisis. The programme, which includes premiere shows and stage productions already presented in the framework of the circuit, will extend to 24 November, overlapping with the autumn edition of the Barcelona Districte Cultural.
The circuit starting in October will be the Barcelona Districte Cultural’s eighth edition and establishment as an accessible and local cultural initiative, where every show is free and adapted to adult and child audiences. In addition to its theatre, dance, circus and music stage offerings, there will also be films screenings from the Petit Cineclub and the Kinosaure and the music documentary film cycle, which is to be held in collaboration with the In-Edit Festival.
