Six puppies that were being sold illegally are recovered
The animals were presented during yoga sessions so that people could place orders, an illegal sales system. The City Police and the Barcelona Animal Protection Office took part in the operation.
The animals were just a few months old and were sick. Four of the animal passports had irregularities relating to the guidelines for vaccination against rabies.
The dogs are being looked after by the Barcelona Pet Shelter.
The operation was carried out after a report made by an animal rights group.
