Open days for the next school year at municipal nursery schools
Barcelona’s municipal nursery schools are holding open days for the coming school year from 12 April to 4 May inclusive. The open days are being held face-to-face, with some online information sessions too. Specific information sessions are being offered for the two new schools (EBM Can Rosés and EBM Teixonera) and the two schools changing location, being enlarged and changing names (Esquitx for EBM Pere Calafell and Trinitat Nova for EBM Torre del Rellotge).

New municipal nursery schools
Two new municipal nursery schools will be open from the next school year: the EBM Can Rosés (district of Les Corts) and the EBM Teixonera (district of Horta-Guinardó). Two others are moving, being enlarged and changing their names: Esquitx is changing location and will become the EBM Pere Calafell (district of Sant Martí), while Trinitat Nova is also moving and will become the EBM Torre del Rellotge (district of Nou Barris). The network of municipal nursery schools for the 2023-2024 school year is made up of 105 centres, managed by the Barcelona Municipal Institute of Education.
Pre-enrolment
The pre-enrolment application process will be conducted entirely online, from 4 May to 17 May inclusive. In exceptional cases, families can submit applications in person during this same period but will need to book an appointment in advance by contacting their first-choice school.
