The new collaboration and funding agreement with PrevenSI, the organisation which works to prevent sexual violence towards children, will help boost resources for this project backed by the Institut de Psicologia Forense, the Institut Intress and the Fundació IRES. The City Council is contributing 20,000 euros, which will fund 50% of the support line operated by the organisation.Besides the funding, the agreement highlights the importance of raising awareness, training and advice for people and institutions close to children, along with families and professionals working with children and teenagers. At the same time, the idea is to strengthen identification, advice and referrals where necessary to psychological treatment for people sexually attracted to children or teenagers, to prevent any type of sexual violence towards children.
