Mobility recommendations for the concerts at the Olympic Ring
More buses will be laid on to cover the 150 route, with a shuttle bus service also added. Arriving in plenty of time, prioritising public transport and using routes indicated for pedestrians will all help towards more flowing and sustainable mobility.Nearly 150 events are planned at the Olympic Ring this year, including 9 concerts at the Olympic Stadium, with a record 1.4 million people expected to take part.
In a move to facilitate access and reduce congestion and pollutant emissions, the Olympic Ring is launching an information campaign.
The main recommendations are for event-goers to bring forward their journeys, prioritise the use of public transport and use routes indicated for pedestrians.
In parallel, some services are being adapted to cover the increase in demand. Specifically, the 150 bus service connecting Pl. Espanya with Montjuïc Castle is to be boosted, while a shuttle bus will also be laid on after events and the operating times of escalators on the mountain extended to 2 am.
A special operation coordinated by the City Police and civic officers will provide information on parking restrictions in streets.
