Metro service reinforced to facilitate mobility amidst Rodalies network situation
The metro system will be operating at maximum capacity from 6 am, with 167 trains in circulation. During the rest of the day, an extra 15 trains will be laid on, particularly during rush hours. The City Police have also launched a special operation to handle potential road disruptions and manage mobility.
This operation by the City Police involves traffic regulation in affected areas, necessary diversions, and increased presence of officers around Rodalies local train stations, bus lanes, and shuttle arrival and departure points.
Collaborating with Renfe and Adif, Barcelona City Council will provide space around La Sagrera and Av. Meridiana for alternative shuttle bus services.
Citizens are advised to stay informed about affected lines and plan their journeys accordingly in advance.
