F1 arrives in the city with the Formula 1 Fan Festival
The Formula 1 Fan Festival is being held from 15 to 22 June, offering a series of activities to celebrate the Formula 1 World Championship arriving in Catalonia and to bring this sport closer to the public. The event consists of a Fan Village in Plaça Catalunya, as well as some current F1 drivers driving their single-seater cars in Passeig de Gràcia on 19 June.The Formula 1 Fan Village is being organised in Plaça Catalunya and will feature some F1 cars on display, a mock-up of the inside of the pits, a podium and a trophy, as well as activities such as a pit-stop simulation, official F1 merchandising stalls and more. There will also be a big screen with entertainment, activities and live coverage of qualifying for the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMION DE ESPAÑA 2024, which is being held at the circuit from 21 to 23 June. The village will also be hosting concerts in the evenings.
The Formula 1 Live Barcelona Road Show is to be held during the afternoon of 19 June, with some current F1 drivers driving their cars along Passeig de Gràcia and in front of some of the city’s iconic buildings. When the Road Show ends, the drivers will be at the Fans Forum, to be held on the stage in the Fan Village.
