Control and input in the Presidency, Security and Internal Affairs Commission for March
The Presidency, Security and Internal Affairs Commission held a special session to present the annual report by the Barcelona Ombudsman. March’s ordinary session followed, where municipal groups debated and voted on various proposals relating to shutting down cannabis clubs, the Office for Transparency and Good Practices, the request for a civic action plan for the Jardins de la Mediterrània, the definition of safety plans for the mountain of Montjuïc and the homeless.Junts per Barcelona called for the City Police and the Directorate for Inspection Services to monitor cannabis clubs to check if they comply with the law and with municipal regulations, and to step up police pressure on the cultivation and illegal sale of cannabis products, urging the Spanish state to prohibit derived products. The proposal was approved with the following votes:

Barcelona en Comú called for a new boost to the Office for Transparency and Good Practices, more funding and human resources for the Directorate for Analysis Services and a response to various information requests relating to the municipal government. The proposal was approved with the following votes:

- Abstention: Vox
Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya proposed a civic action plan for the Jardins de la Mediterrània, in the neighbourhood of La Marina del Prat Vermell, with measures linked to cleaning and safety there. The proposal was approved with the following votes:
- In favour: Junts×BCN, BComú, ERC, PP, Vox
- Abstention: PSC
The Partit Popular urged the municipal government to create a security plan for the mountain of Montjuïc, with greater police presence, more cleaning and maintenance services, more lighting, the removal of irregular settlements and more. The proposal was approved with the following votes:
- In favour: Junts×BCN, ERC, PP, Vox
- Against: BComú
- Abstention: PSC
Vox called for the municipal government to produce a specific plan to act against the homeless and to expel people without papers. The proposal was rejected with the following votes:
