Mobility disruptions for the Zurich Marató Barcelona 2024
Vehicles will not be allowed to circulate in any of the streets making up the route of this event during the morning of Sunday, 10 March, with disruptions affecting the districts of L’Eixample, Sant Andreu, Sants-Montjuïc and Sant Martí. Several bus services will be affected.Traffic and parking access restrictions will begin at 7.30 am, one hour before the start of the marathon, and will be restored once the race has finished. The last restrictions will be at 3.00 pm. All the streets along the route will be affected: Pg. Gràcia, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, Marina, Aragó, Viladomat, València, Huelva, Felip II (crossing the Bac de Roda bridge), Gran de la Sagrera, Garcilaso, Av. Meridiana, Mallorca, Calàbria, and back along Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and Pg. Gràcia, Pl. Catalunya, Rda. Universitat, Pl. Universitat, Rda. Sant Antoni, Sepúlveda, Rocafort, Floridablanca, Urgell, Manso, Av. Paral·lel, Pl. Drassanes, Pg. Josep Carner, Pl. Portal de la Pau, Pg. Colom, Pg. Isabel II, Pg. Picasso, Pg. Pujades, Pl. Voluntaris Olímpics, Av. Litoral, Josep Pla, Pg. Taulat, Pl. Llevant, Av. Diagonal (with a 180-degree turn in Ciutat de Granada), Llull, Pamplona, Arquitecte Sert, Salvador Espriu, Marina, Ausiàs Marc, Pl. Urquinaona, Rda. Sant Pere and Pg. Lluís Companys (Arc de Triomf).
Disruptions to public transport
Several bus services are affected and will either be diverted or see their routes limited during the event. They are: D20, D50, H8, H10, H12, H14, H16, V9, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, V21, V23, V25, V27, V29, V31, 6, 7, 13, 19, 21, 22, 24, 33, 34, 39, 47, 54, 55, 59, 62, 63, 67, 96, 109, 120, 121, 126, 136, 141, 192, and the blue and red routes for the Bus Turístic. Given the scale of the disruptions, people are recommended to use the metro in all areas the route passes through between 6.30 am and 3 pm. More information on the TMB website.
