Sara Lilu Quartet feat. Bill McHenry

In this year’s edition of the Barcelona Grec Festival, Jamboree is offering its audience the chance to see emerging stars of the city’s jazz scene, new voices who have yet to be discovered or are budding talents. One of the most well-established artists is Sara Lilu, a young musician born in the Canary Islands. Hers is the voice of an inquisitive, creative, unbridled spirit that expresses itself with total freedom. A vocalist who straddles jazz and other related sounds, she has already collaborated with musicians such as Andrew Baker, Kike Perdomo, Carme Canela, Jorge Rossy and the American saxophonist Bill McHenry, with whom she is presenting this project.
