These artists know what they mean when they talk about maturity. It will be apparent to you from the very first moment because they are veteran circus artists who are between 65 and 78 years old and who have spent their lives in the ring, performing mime, theatre and sports because they do not belong to the more classical circus disciplines, but to many that have been incorporated in recent times into the new contemporary circus. What are the differences between the older people's circus and the artists of the new generations? How can we bridge the past and the present to transmit circus heritage to the younger generations? Here they will talk to you about the role of older people in the newest circus scenes; in this way, they will also speak to you about the role we reserve for the elderly in our society. You will see how it is possible to establish meeting points and complicities between generations in circus and in life. Three older artists who claim their place in the ring and the world tell us about the changes they have seen from the most classical to contemporary circus and how the encounters with the two young artists who also star in the show sometimes end in clashes, but also in re-encounters. A profound reflection on change in life and the circus and our ability to adapt. A scenography with a double reading, more intimate and testimonial or more public and open, accompanies a show with live music that enhances the dramaturgy and reinforces it with sounds from different periods.
