The trio formed by novelist, poet and playwright Olivier Cadiot, director Ludovic Lagarde and actor Laurent Poitrenaux return to their origins to present a monologue by Robinson, a character who frequently crops up in Cadiot’s plays. Even though practically immobile, like a castaway on some interior island, Robinson is capable of evoking surreal adventures of all kinds. His narrative features characters and situations that are recreated with the help of the rich sound universe generated by IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique) of Paris. Activated by the movement of Robinson’s hand, this soundtrack is formed by music, distorted voices and a range of different sound. In short, a fabulous, densely populated monologue.
