A guitarist and singer-songwriter who has left his mark on Brazilian music and has composed the soundtrack to our love stories.
Some of the most magical moments in the history of bossa nova and Brazilian popular music have a name: Antonio Bondeolli Pecci Filho or, as his mother first began to call him when he was still a child, Toquinho. His name will always be linked to that of Vinicius de Moraes, but Toquinho has also enjoyed a long and impressive solo career. Now, as he approaches his 66th year, he still has many things to say or, better, sing. We are quite likely to hear such songs as "Tomara" and "A felicidade" at this concert, at which the artist from São Paulo will also play tracks from his latest album, produced after an eight-year silence. On Quem viver, verá, released in 2011, Toquinho sings, amongst other things, of his second home country, Italy, and his great passion after music and poetry: football.
