A group of independent artists from different backgrounds, all living and working in Barcelona, present a dance show in cooperation with the Swiss choreographer Thomas Hauert, one of the leading names on the Belgian scene today.
The choreographic language of Thomas Hauert (who presented From B to B with Àngels Margarit at Grec 2011) can be understood as an extension of the abstract dance tradition. His highly polyphonic “writing” comes to life on stage most completely through improvisation. Group LaBolsa was formed around a shared interest in movement based on musical scores, which establish concrete, fully-developed frameworks whilst also allowing space for performers to use their creative intuition in encounters with audiences. La mesura del desordre is a piece that revolves around a complex organism that is constantly reorganised and reinvented, fuelled by individual initiatives and different degrees of mutual influence.
