Parodi joined Astor Piazzolla’s band in 1979 and immediately began to write the story of the unknown artist who became a star in her own right. On her new record, Pequeñas Tradiciones, she further develops her interest in bringing Argentina’s traditional music up towards a new, more modern sound.
