De Roger Bernat i Ignasi Duarte amb la col·laboració de Luz Verde (Joves taxistes de Barcelona)

Cairo, Lisbon, Moscow, Rabat, Vienna… now it’s the turn of Barcelona’s taxi drivers, who take the stage to act as tourist guides to their own city. Normally, we only ever see them partially –part of their shoulder, their hands or their eyes in the rear-view mirror. Now, briefly, they are the stars. A telephonist will also show her face. Between them, connected live by two-way radio and GPS, they will draw new maps of Barcelona. Rimuski is a project by Roger Bernat and Ignasi Duarte that started life as a workshop. Now converted into a stage show, it remains faithful to its authors’ original intentions: to explore the acting ability of people not devoted to the theatre and to experiment with the possibilities of mixing different worlds together. Barcelona’s taxi drivers will tell their anecdotes, their little secrets, their favourite places.
