You may well have seen the Nocturna Discordia sessions orchestrated by Andrés Rojas, better known as El Pricto, on the stage of the Soda Acústic de Gràcia. He has brought us almost four hundred sessions over the last ten years. With his project the Reptilian Mambo he premieres a new repertoire specially composed to incorporate the soprano Illona Schneider, one of the leading figures on the Barcelona experimental music scene, who is always eager to collaborate with the most diverse artists.
Plaça Real's Cava de Jazz once again this year joins Barcelona's Grec Festival, with a selection of great artists who, like Reptilian Mambo and his musicians, offer us a series of high-quality artistic projects, contemporary creations all with particularly outstanding vocals and accessible to all audiences. Some performances take place in the Jamboree's new Sala 3, a third space in this venue used for live music, dance, small-format theatre, cabaret, exhibitions, conferences and events of all kinds.
