A family show that combines actors and objects and takes us on a journey into the fantastic world of Pere Calders.
How did the child Sala feel when his parents gave Turc, his beloved dog, to the gardener’s daughter? What did he have to do to fill the emptiness left by the loss of his pet? We learn the answer to this question from two actors who discover that objects abandoned in an attic make the best possible companions as we enter a fantasy world which only the youngest children can fully understand. A show for all the family, with games, illusions, and objects that are far from being as useless as adults sometimes think.
The magical world of Pere Calders returns to the stage, one hundred years after the birth of the Catalan writer. Transgression and fantasy go hand-in-hand in a Teatre Nu production that has much to teach adults. Raspall shows us that, as Calders himself once said: “the most extraordinary things sometimes happen, you know...”
