A huge cast of musicians, choreographers and performers pay homage to the pianist, composer and improv artist Joan Saura, a key figure in the history of Catalan experimental music.
When Joan Saura i Martí died, a life ended, but this did not extinguish the musical flame that he had lit many years before, founding the groups Koniec and Orquestra del Caos and working with such musicians as Agustí Fernández, Oriol Perucho and many others who, like Saura himself, devoted their talent to experiment and improvisation in music.
But Joan Saura also placed his artistic talent at the service of dance, working with different dancers and choreographers, from Andrés Corchero to Àngels Margarit and Constanza Brncic, and with poets like Feliu Formosa. Many of these artists now pay tribute to Saura, taking part in event in which they play music, dance, perform, show their works, recite poetry and take part in relaxed conversations.
