Noa has been on the music scene for twenty years now, building a career in which she has won respect from audiences thanks to her rigorous approach and devotion to essentially Mediterranean sounds. This time around, her gaze falls on southern Italy as she performs songs from her new album, Noapoles. Accompanied by her regular band and the Solis String Quartet, Noa explores the Neapolitan repertoire, avoiding cliché to bring us songs that are not so well known to broader audiences, all performed in the Naples dialect in which they were originally written.
