Barcelona’s music festivals are the stars once more at Montjuïc Night, which turns the whole mountain into a vast shop window for the city’s musical diversity. The various venues taking part in this celebration each feature different musical styles, and the Teatre Grec will showcase those to be heard at three festivals – De Cajón!, the Guitar Festival and Barcelona Jazz Festival. The concert will open with a performance by the young cantaora Sandra Carrasco, accompanied by two very special guests: pianist Iván Melón Lewis and Javier Limón, the latter a leading light in flamenco fusion who has produced such albums as Bebo Valdés and Diego El Cigala’s Lágrimas negras, as well as artists of the calibre of Enrique Morente and Paco de Lucía. Next up are the legendary jazz fusion ensemble Pegasus before leading Catalan rock group Gossos close the concert close the show.
